不论在上课前,放学后,在自习室里还是在操场上,当你慢下脚步,就能听到很多这样的对话,简单的话语却让人为之一暖,也为这本就散发着青春气息的校园,平添了一种家的美好和温馨。

时间灌溉出信任,陪伴是最温暖的担当
为了让孩子们在自律中获得自由,独立成长,Dianal和Dylan两兄弟的爸爸妈妈选择了5天寄宿。弟弟Dylan尚在小学,没有达到寄宿的要求,可兄弟俩不愿意分开,也为了给他们一个像在家里一样的学习环境,在父母的坚持下,学校经过评估,特批了弟弟加入寄宿生活,成为了NACIS年纪最小的boarder。
每天早上都可以在寄宿部食堂看到两个小伙子的身影,吃完早餐后,Dylan蹦蹦跳跳地往小学部走去,途中还不忘转过身跟哥哥挥挥手,示意哥哥也快去上课;而哥哥总是会看着弟弟走远才动身往中学教学楼走去。兄弟俩的默契没有因为年龄的差距有任何隔阂,反而于每天寄宿生活中,培养出了深深的信任和担当。
每天晚自习的时候,Dianal都会抽空去“检查”Dylan的学习,帮弟弟默写,带他攻克学习上的难关。Dylan写错了,会一脸不好意思地跟哥哥说抱歉,生怕哥哥失望;而Dianal则一边鼓励弟弟,一边帮他纠正,俨然是充满担当的大哥模样。
“教育即是生活”,没有什么是比寄宿更好地让教育融入生活更好的方式了。人生的道路各不相同,不可复制,但在人生长河中这横跨童年与青少年最恣意,最意气风发的12年时光里,有一个一路同行、相互陪伴、彼此成就的人,应该就是二宝时代下,教育最温暖的模样吧。
散发耀眼的“光”,成为彼此的榜样
世界上没有完全相同的两片叶子,即便是双胞胎也有各自不同的性格特点。不辜负每一个孩子的潜能,让每个孩子都散发出耀眼的光茫,是NACIS个性化教学的本质。
Zhixuan和Angela兄妹,一个九年级,一个六年级。因为父母工作调动的原因,他们从北京来到上海。异地择校对于每个家庭来说,都是一件大事,特别对于二宝家庭,尤为重要。见证了孩子们在北京学校里的改变和成长,全家都明确了要给孩子在上海选一所什么样的学校。当他们知道孩子所在的学校,在上海也有一所姐妹学校的时候,他们无比欣喜,虽然对北京依依不舍,但也毅然决然地来到上海,加入NACIS大家庭。

哥哥zhixuan内敛从容,从小练习书法,一个个字遒劲有力;吹得了冷门乐器,也弹得一手好钢琴。妹妹Angela活泼开朗,喜欢民族舞,灵动悠扬。兄妹俩最多的交流并不是在技艺上的,而是成为彼此的榜样。哥哥赞赏妹妹的独立自信;妹妹佩服哥哥专注沉稳。兄妹俩在NACIS不仅找到了目标,更找到了属于自己成长的专属道路。
比紧抓分数更高的要求,是自主性的培养。Zhixuan到了NACIS之后,见到了更广更高的天地,同时也找到了更远的目标。这个过程中,他说,自己也曾有过落差,但更多的是因为与其他优秀的人为伍,他找到了那份自律和自驱力,也找到适合自己发展的方向。Zhixuan下定决心要走IB的道路,见识过大海的雄鹰,一定会汇聚全身的力量,搏一搏浪。从0开始组建商赛队伍,到拿到了国际大赛铜奖,Zhixuan说他很感谢学校为他们提供了这样的机会,可以真正尝试去追逐自己的目标,一步步走到梦想中的位置。
NACIS珍惜孩子的每一份热爱,搭建未来可以让他们振翅高飞的平台。不论是平常的教学模式还是评估,都旨在培养学生足以面对未来挑战的各项素养。

爱与鼓舞,相互点亮成长的时光
Chloe和Ethan姐弟,是NACIS的创校“二宝”家庭。妈妈Sandra回忆起为姐姐选择NACIS的时候,原本只是想给孩子找到一个既能融合国际教学,又能将本土课程学得扎实的学校,但当Chloe从一个心思细腻,敏感害羞的女孩,逐渐成为了一个能独当一面的Leader,在学校的教学环境和氛围里,变得更加自信,自如,这样的变化带给她的惊喜,似乎在她的意料之外,但却在情理之中。到了弟弟Ethan入学的年纪,Sandra不带一丝犹豫地成为了NACIS二宝妈妈。
与Zhixuan和Angela兄妹成为彼此的榜样不同的是,Chloe和Ethan姐弟年龄相差5岁,在这对姐弟身上,相互鼓舞和启发是他们一直的相处之道。
弟弟Ethan在没入学之前,就向往着姐姐的NACIS生活,无比希望可以加入姐姐的行列。姐姐在学校的日常,在足球队训练的精彩,去北京参加Nord Anglia教育集团校际联赛获奖的激动与快乐,Ethan虽然没有亲身共同经历,但从姐姐和自己还有父母的分享和言语中,当时快要上一年级的Ethan,也隐隐受到了鼓舞:或许,自己也可以跟姐姐一样,迈出找到自己兴趣和爱好的第一步。
“只见姐弟俩每天都很开心地去上学,突然有一天放学,回家的路上,Ethan跟我和他姐姐说,自己想参加Junior Orchestra低年级弦乐队的选拔,我才意识到,原来姐弟俩之前一直悄悄商量的是什么。”Sandra说道。
“姐姐跟他讲了很多自己被老师鼓励去参加校队的事,还有各个学科的活动。她鼓励弟弟也跟自己当初一样,勇敢尝试,通过自己的喜好和学校的活动,坚持自己的兴趣。”
姐弟俩花了很多时间在运动和兴趣上,学术上却和上海同龄小朋友相差无异。“Ethan现在五年级,不管是学习上,还是生活上,都有自己的想法和主见,他用自信的模样回馈了姐姐的鼓励。而看到弟弟从一个小‘跟屁虫’,变成了能跟自己比肩的准中学生,姐姐很骄傲,也大受鼓舞,就想要变得更好。他们俩,在NACIS共同成长的这些年,都更自信、更舒展了。” Sandra又欣慰又感动地说道。
孩子们有着自己向往的目标和状态,并为之努力,勇于争取和表达自己的意愿,而学校也创造了一个特别好的氛围,让孩子们勇于尝试各种可能性。

Every family is looking for a better education for their children. There are many sibling families with more than one child learning at NACIS. GROW UP TOGETHER WITH TRUST AND COMPANIONSHIP
Parents chose the 5-day boarding progrmme for Dianal and Dylan, so as to help two brothers gain freedom in discipline and develop independent ability. Every morning, we can see them have breakfast at the boarding canteen. After breakfast, Dylan waves goodbye to his brother and goes skipping to the primary campus, while the elder brother always watches the younger brother go far away before walking to the secondary teaching building. The two brothers have developed a tacit understanding and deep trust and responsibility in their daily boarding life.
Every night during self-study, Dianal takes time to "check" Dylan's study, and helps his younger brother overcome the difficulties in subject learning. When Dylan makes mistakes and feels depressed, his brother always encourages him to correct the mistakes. As the youngest student in the boarding department, Dylan receives a lot of attention, while he also brings warmth to his brother and other students in the dormitory.
"Education is life". There is no better way to integrate education into life than joining the boarding programme. The path in life is not the same. However, siblings can help and encourage each other and grow up together in their learning journey, which is the warmest interpretation in education for sibling families.
BE AN OUTSTANDING MODEL TO EACH OTHER
There are no two identical leaves in the world, and even twins have different personality traits. NACIS is committed to providing personalised education for each child, so as to help them develop their potential and achieve success.
Zhixuan from grade 9 and Angela from grade 6 are a pair of brother and sister. They came to Shanghai from Beijing due to their parents' job transfer. School selection is a big issue for every family, especially for sibling families. After witnessing children's changes and growth in NAS Fangshan they were determined to come to Shanghai and join NACIS based on their recognition and trust in Nord Anglia Education.
Zhixuan is introverted and calm. He practises calligraphy from a young age. He can play the unpopular instruments and the piano very well. Angela is lively and cheerful and she likes folk dance. What the siblings communicate most is not about skills, but about being a role model for each other. The elder brother admires the younger sister's independence and confidence, while the younger sister likes her brother's concentration and composure. At NACIS, they have not only known their goals, but also found their own way to grow up.
In addition to academic learning, it is important for children to develop independence. After joining NACIS, Zhixuan saw a wider and higher world and found a further target. In this process, he said he also had some gaps because he was surrounded by other outstanding students. He found self-discipline and self-drive as well as the right direction for his development. Zhixuan was determined to choose the IB programme and he would make every effort to realize his dream. Building the business competition team from scratch, Zhixuan won the bronze prize in the international competition. He said that he was very grateful to NACIS for providing such a chance to pursue his dream.
NACIS cherishes the interests of each child and provides a platform for them to fly in the future. Our teaching model and assessments are designed to help students cultivate various qualities to face the challenges ahead.
Angela has had no discomfort after transferring from Beijing. The Nord Anglia Education has a strict focus on the quality of our teachers. Our teachers are committed to conducting student-centred and personalized teaching. They guide them to think why to do it and what facts can be verified instead of telling them how to do it, which not only develops children's independent thinking ability, but also promotes the development of their personality. This is also the reason why Angela can quickly adapt to the new environment. Angela's confidence and relaxation has also inspired her brother and classmates. At NACIS, she has made many good friends with her sincerity and friendliness.
Although she is not old enough to participate in the competition, she has also experienced many large-scale international discipline competitions with her brother. With this kind of imperceptible power, Angela can quickly find her own direction and space to march forward.

GROW UP TOGETHER WITH CARE AND ENCOURAGEMENT
Chloe and Ethan are a pair of brother and sister from one of the NACIS founding families. Sandra, their mother, recalled that she originally wanted to find a school for Chole to learn the blended courses when she chose NACIS for her. She’s surprised to witness that Chloe has changed from a sensitive and shy girl to a confident and independent leader. When Ethan was old enough to go to school, Sandra chose NACIS for without any hesitation.
Different from Zhixuan and Angela, Chloe is 5 years older than Ethan. The siblings always encourage and enlighten each other during their learning journey.
Before starting school life, Ethan admired his sister's school life and expected to learn in the same school with his sister. Although he did not experience the wonderful school life, brilliant football trainings and exciting interschool league, but he was inspired by his sister’s learning experiences at NACIS. Just like his siter, he could take the first step in finding his own interests and hobbies.
“I saw them going to school happily every day. One day, Ethan told me that he wanted to participate in the Junior Orchestra tryout. Then I realized what the siblings had been secretly discussing.”
“Chloe told Ethan a lot about how she was encouraged to join the school team, as well as a variety of subject activities. She encouraged her younger brother to be the same as herself and stick to his interests through his own preferences and school activities."
Although Chloe and Ethan spend a lot of time on sports and hobbies, they don’t fall behind from their peers academically.
"Ethan is in grade 5 now. He has his own ideas and opinions in study and life. Under the encouragement of his sister, he becomes very confident. Chloe is very proud that her younger brother is becoming independent and confident, which also inspire her to become a better herself. The siblings have grown more confident and relaxed in the years at NACIS.”Sandra said with relief.
Children have their own goals and states, and work hard for them, have the courage to strive for and express their wishes, and the school has also created a particularly good atmosphere for children to have the courage to try all kinds of possibilities.
