上海闵行区协和双语教科学校：SPBCN国际英文拼词大会

SPBCN以帮助提高英语综合能力，培养“自信、感恩、创造力、坚毅”的多种品质为目的，凭借其极高的趣味性、观赏性与参与性吸引了众多英语学习者，同时也为各位speller们打开了通往英语学习新世界的大门。

为了在第八届的拼词大赛中展现我校选手的“蜂”彩，2023年4月15-16日，我校国内初中双语课程部的七位选手经过短暂磨合后，来到了SPBCN团体赛南部赛区的赛场，虽然迎战的队伍有来自于年年参赛的极富经验的学校，也有由八九年级学生组成的学长参赛队，但由六七年级小选手们组成教科“七侠”们毫不畏惧，每个人都全力以赴，配合默契，机智应战，完美地诠释了教科学子如何从平凡到不凡的蜕变，实现了自我成就创造的惊喜与奇迹！

参赛选手感言

经过两天三场激烈的比赛，我们教科团队获得了三局三胜的好成绩，为我们spelling bee团体赛全国区域赛(南区)的比赛画上了一个完美的句号。这份荣誉是对我们的肯定，是激励，是我们无数次坚持的意义所在。

在这里，我们感谢老师给予的指导和陪伴，感谢伙伴们互相的支持和鼓励，感谢主办方给我们这个精彩的舞台，还要感谢克服困难勇敢前行的自己。星光不问赶路人，时光不负有心人，让我们再次出发，朝着全国总决赛奋进。Dream big dreams, reach for the stars. We will do our most, and show our best!                     

在第一次参加完SPBCN团体赛全国区域赛(南区)的比赛后，我们学校取得了晋级全国总决赛的名额，我十分的高兴与自豪。我是我们的校队的速拼选手，在为期一天半的时间里，比赛三场，我都能稳定发挥，并且战胜对手。在这次比赛中，我不仅锻炼了自己的速拼能力，还收获了友谊。我希望我们可以在全国赛里再接再厉，争取好名次！ 

 I would like to express my gratitude to the judges and everyone who attended the ITSO Competition for giving me the opportunity to showcase my English proficiency and abilities. I encountered many challenges and difficulties during the competition, but through teamwork and hard work, I was able to advance to the National Finals and win first prize.

During the competition process, I deeply appreciate the importance of teamwork. We worked together to learn, discuss, and share our learning methods and experience, which made us more efficient and faster learners. At the same time, I have also learned how to better manage my time and improve my learning efficiency.

Aside from the benefits I gained from the competition, I have also learned many knowledge and skills about English spelling. For example, how to better memorize words, how to use words to express ideas, and how to overcome weaknesses in pronunciation and speech expressions. These experience and knowledge will have a positive impact on my future learning and work.

In the competition, I also realized my shortcomings and needs to improve. For example, in terms of pronunciation and speech expressions, I need to pay more attention to details and practice more. But I believe that as long as I persist and continue to learn and strive, I will achieve better results.

Finally, I would like to express my gratitude to my family, friends, and classmates for their support and encouragement. It is because of their support and encouragement that I was able to persevere and win this award. At the same time, I would like to thank the organizers and ITSO Competition for giving me the opportunity to showcase my talent and abilities.

In my future learning and life, I will continue to maintain a positive and upward attitude, and strive to improve myself constantly. At the same time, I also hope to share my experiences and knowledge with more people, so that more people can benefit from the charm of learning English. 

I was really excited when I learnt that I would take part in this year's ITSO. I spent a lot of time practicing words during the winter holidays. Although I often had a difficult time, I was extremely happy when we won the games one after one. Not only because of the good news that we will be entering the final competition, but also I felt that this is the best reward for serious practices. This competition also helps me improve my English speaking and spelling abilities. Besides, I made many friends from both our school and other schools. I want to thank myself for not giving up halfway, and I want to thank my friends and teachers for helping me so much. I will continue my way up and show a better self at the next stage.

寒假时，望着老师发来的茫茫的词汇和词源，短暂的震惊后，瞬间感觉到一种莫名的无助，未来似乎遥不可及，只是默默地跟着进度每天打卡。背完词源后在这次全国区域赛赛前不到一个月时转背词汇，焦虑也曾一度困扰着我，但感谢杨老师的鼓励与支持，让我有信心坚持下去。

小组赛的两天激烈的角逐中，我们获得了小组第一的好成绩。自信开放、迎难而上、追求卓越，不断探索、总结、提高，从挫折中收获经验，接着继续克服困难，继续突破。或许有过怠慢，但，不论道路多么漫长，不论困难多么艰巨，我们都将倾其所有，努力拼搏。江山留胜迹，我辈复登临，期待在接下来的全国总决赛中我们的精彩表现！

This weekend we took part in the SPBCN spelling contest. We competed three times and won three times. We learned a lot from it. First of all, we feel the charm of English words, and more like memorizing words. Secondly, we feel the charm of cooperation and have a better understanding with our team members. Besides, this competition not only exercises my ability, but also makes me more confident. Last but not least, we meet many new friends and communicate with them about the contest feeling. During the contest, the referees were very gentle, humorous. They kept encouraging us after the game and we felt a lot lighter. In this competition, I would also like to thank our teachers' guidance and students' hard work. Finally, I hope we can do well in the national competition. Dream big dreams, reach for the stars. We'll do our most, to show our best!

 在刚得知我们需要参加ITSO比赛的时候，队员们大都对自己的实力感到不那么自信，因为每个人都是第一次参加SPBCN团体赛的区域赛，不确定对方的实力和比赛的实况，但我们都花了很长的时间去精心准备这次的比赛。

刻苦的训练使得我们在对战西外，青浦协和以及新纪元时展现出了自己的实力，以两次四比一和一次三比二的优秀成绩入了全国决赛圈。我将会更加努力训练背诵，希望我们队可以在全国赛崭露头角！

虽然本次的SPBCN团体赛全国区域赛(南区)只有短短的两天，但是三场比赛带给选手和老师们的体验和感受让在场的每一位都得到了收获与成长。一次次的过招拆招，一次次的未知与等待，有失误也有反转，有惊喜也有遗憾，大家相互分享相互鼓励，赛出了水平、收获了友谊，两天的比赛不仅为大家繁忙的学习生活增添了一抹绚烂，也为教科的校园带来了胜利的喜悦和掌声。教科的学子们，就让我们期待下一站属于你们的璀璨星空！
