上海市民办万源城协和双语学校新学期开学典礼
2022年2月21日，上海市民办万源城协和双语学校小初高三部齐聚操场，举行了2021学年第二学期第一次升旗仪式，同时也是我们的开学典礼。
On February the 21st, all teachers and students gathered in the playground as SUIS Wanyuan welcomed the first ceremony of the semester
校武术队同学们的表演《舞狮少年》为升旗仪式拉开了序幕。舞龙舞狮是我们国家汉族传统民俗文化之一，民间用舞龙的方式祈求平安和丰收。校队的同学们希望借此表演为所有的老师和同学们献上新学期的美好祝福。
The first performance was from the school martial arts team. The dragon and lion dance is one of the traditional folk dance cultures of the Han nationality in our country. People try to pray for peace and good harvest. This performance also offered the best wishes for the new semester to all teachers and students.
农历新年期间，2022北京冬奥会这一话题炙手可热。与众不同的是，这是奥运会历史上第一次出现双奥之城，北京聚焦了全世界的目光。奥林匹克代表着攻坚克难的精神，寄托着同舟共济的希望。
During the Chinese New Year, the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics was the most attractive topic. The whole world is focusing on Beijing for it is the only city who has hold both Olympics activities. The Olympics represent the spirit of overcoming difficulties and the hope of helping each other.
来自小学部三年级的李松泽同学和汤瑀辰同学带来的演讲《幕后英雄张艺谋》和《冬奥健儿谷爱凌》带我们回顾了本次奥运会场上无数令人敬佩的优秀人物。接着，小学部四年级的李林樨同学和刘耘铭同学为我们带来的诗朗诵《冬奥的赞歌》将本场开学典礼推向了高潮。
Two grade three students gave the speech of people they admire in the Olympics and two grade four students addressed the poem of Olympics. Everyone was amazed and touched.
全校长在新年致辞中说到：“我们成功圆了奥运梦，但回归本质，奥运会的热烈开展，是为了弘扬崇尚运动，积极参与运动，热爱运动以及永不放弃，挑战人类极限的体育精神。体育让我们身体健康充满能量；体育让我们面对面交往，结交更多朋友；体育让我们正确面对输赢；体育让我们学会坚持。”
The principal Mr. Paul said, ‘We have successfully fulfilled the Olympics dream. The development of the Olympics is to encourage people to participate in sports and love it. Sports keep us healthy. Sports bring us face to face. Sports teach us to face gain and lose correctly. Sports teach us how to persist.
