At Harrow Beijing, Year 6 to Year 8 students study a general Science course which covers the basics of Biology, Chemistry and Physics. From Year 9 to Year 11, most students undertake their IGCSE in each of the separate Sciences. The separate Sciences are also very popular in the Sixth Form and many students take at least one Science A-Level.

哈罗北京6-8年级的学生会进行综合科学课程的学习，9-11年级的学生会进一步选择生物、化学或者物理作为IGCSE的科目。科学类课程一直很受到学生们的欢迎，很多学生在A-Level阶段也会选择科学类课程。

The Sciences at Harrow Beijing not only teach knowledge, but also skills. Frequent opportunities to work independently support the development of students’ study skills.  In addition to the investigative and problem-solving skills, students learn to work in collaboration with each other. Intrinsic motivation, responsibility and independent learning skills are developed during the study.

In order to maximise student engagement,  Harrow Beijing aim to make the teaching of science relevant to the real world. Some of the topics covered which students find very engaging are topics such as fitness and health, diet, energy resources and so on.

为了增强学生的参与度，哈罗将科学与现实生活联系起来。比如像健康、饮食、能源资源等主题就很受到学生们的欢迎。

Many of our graduates embark on their journey to Ivy League and Russell Group universitiesto study Science related major, such as Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, Astrophysics or Medicine.  For example, we are very proud of our 2021 graduates Karina N and Annika F who got into the University of Hong Kong to study Medicine. This year, we are proud of Simon W who has been accepted for University of Oxford to study Chemistry.

哈罗很多毕业生被美国常青藤盟校或英国罗素大学集团录取，攻读电气工程，纯化学，天体物理学或医学等科学相关专业。例如，2021届毕业生Karina N 和Annika F前往香港大学攻读医学专业。今年的毕业生Simon W被牛津大学录取，将攻读化学专业。

In addition to in-school opportunities, students also have chances to participate in a number of international science competitions, including the Big Science Competition, the UK Chemistry Olympiad and Canadian Chemistry contest.

除了校内的实践活动，哈罗的学生有机会参加各种国际科学类竞赛，比如澳大利亚科学竞赛、英国化学奥林匹克竞赛、加拿大化学竞赛等。很多学生在比赛中取得杰出成绩。
