Opening Ceremony

2022年2月16日，杭校大礼堂内，在师生奏唱国歌的歌声中，开学典礼逐渐拉开了帷幕。袁校长走上台，宣布2021学年第二学期初中部开学典礼正式开始。与往年不同的是，这次开学典礼的参与者还包含了小学部的5年级全体学生。

开学典礼先以五位来自不同年级的学生的发言为开端。来自五年级4班的刘昕昊（Howard）同学以新年心愿为主题，总结了我们实现梦想需具备的若干条件；

来自六年级3班的顾思涵（Judy）同学分享了寒假生活中对冬奥会的观看感想，以自己成功提升英语的案例说明了制定目标的重要性，鼓励大家勇于追逐梦想；

七年级4班的夏涵（Lisa）同学表达了自己对读书、行路的热情，以自己对黄河流域实地考察的实践活动呼吁同学们“读万卷书，行万里路”；

八年级2班的刘柳儿（Coco）同学将自己长时间发展花样滑冰的特长娓娓道来，以“坚强者能在命运之风暴中奋斗”总结自己从事花滑运动的艰苦但充满激情的人生经历；

九年级1班的赵翕婧（Bella）同学概括了自己从“焦虑死循环”中脱颖而出，在压力中寻找平衡点从而“无痛自律”的经验，并表示希望大家可以在压力中保持良好心态。

很显然，五位同学都在假期生活期间有所探索和思考，感悟颇深。

随后，金校长在掌声中笑意盎然地走上台致辞。她的寄语主要围绕了三个主题展开，即“做一个勇敢追逐梦想的人”、“努力学习，做一个有智慧，可为不同文化做出桥梁的人”、“做一个学会感恩的人”。从中，她谈到集体主义的重要性，谈到张嘉豪从事滑雪的经历，谈到谷爱凌夺冠背后的深意……最后，她还表达了对杭校学生们不仅可以学业有成，还能乐于奉献、精神富足的期望。

紧接着就是大家都期盼已久的各奖项颁奖环节。随着音乐伴奏的响起，获奖的学生们整齐地排好队上台，面对着镜头，端正地持好奖状，脸上洋溢着因荣誉感而生的喜悦。这场仪式是对所有学生以往学期努力进步的肯定和激励。

最后，袁校长宣布开学典礼结束，各班有秩序地退场。希望在新的一年里，杭校学子们可以继续奋发向上，在学业进步、硕果累累的同时，能找寻到自己的梦想，丰富自己的精神世界，将杭校“中国核，世界流”的理念发扬光大！

After spending the Winter Holiday, we are pleased to welcome the students back to campus again. 2022, February 16th, Principal. Yuan declared that the opening ceremony of the second semester of 2021 had begun. Different from before, we also have all the Grade 5 students from Primary school. 

Firstly, five students who come from different Grades gave a speech. Howard from Class 4 Grade 5 introduced his wishes and dreams, along with the steps to achieve them. 

Judy from Class 3 Grade 6 shared her thoughts about the Winter Olympic game; she encouraged everyone to chase their dream by telling her story.

Lisa from Class 4 Grade 7 used her field investigation along the Yellow River to call on theories that should come with experiments. Coco from Class 2 Grade 8 told us her Figure Skating Road is the passion that has supported her to fulfill her dream.

Bella from Class 1 Grade 9 showed mind maps of how to get rid of anxiety, how to find the balancing point, and be self-discipline at the same time. 

Our student representations had a mature comprehension of life.

Secondly, Principal. Jin addressed her wishes to all students. To be brave for chasing dreams, connect different cultures, and be thankful for everything…

These are the qualities of modern teenagers. Many of us are not talented, to which hard-working is the only way to miracles. Hard-working will not be wasted. Miracles could come late. However, having a fiery heart to do our best makes a youth of new age. 

Lastly, we have those students with excellent performance in the previous semester. The teachers have seen their progress, and the certification will encourage them to do even better. 

The opening ceremony has ended in clappings and laughter. We profoundly brought the best wishes to students of HBBSS, for them to break through difficulties and carry forward the principles of HBBSS.
