2021年12月17日，上海市民办中芯学校建校二十周年庆祝活动正式举行。为响应国家疫情防控政策，本次庆典活动采用网络直播的方式进行，全校师生在指定教室线上观赏，共同庆祝。
On December 17, 2021, Shanghai SMIC School held its 20th anniversary celebration. In accordance with the disease control and prevention policy, the event was live-streamed to the audience. Students and teachers watched the performance on line in their classrooms.
1鼓乐喧天 缤纷开场
激越昂扬的击鼓拉开了庆祝活动的序幕，铿锵有力的鼓声传达着师生为学校庆生的喜悦与祝福。线上观看的孩子们被这样的热情及喜悦所感染，纷纷为老师们鼓掌。
The event started with rhythm of the drums. Every drum beat symbolized a blessing to our school. Children were applauding for their teachers who were performing on stage.

2感念往昔 憧憬未来
中芯学校校董庄小凤女士回顾中芯20年发展的历程，感怀师生共同奋进的难忘岁月，激励中芯人执着进取、追求卓越。
Ms. Flora Zhuang, Chancellor and Headmaster of SMIC School delivered a speech, which summarized the school’s development in the past 20 years. The speech further encouraged SMIC staff and students to strive for a better future.
中芯国际公司董事长高永岗先生发表鼓舞人心的讲话，祝贺中芯学校建校20周年，感谢政府、社会对学校的关注和支持，激励中芯广大师生为成就中芯百年树人的目标而奋斗。
Dr. Yonggang Gao, Chairman of SMIC Company also expressed the best wishes for SMIC School in his speech and thanked everybody for supporting the school. Dr. Gao's speech encouraged us to reach a long-term goal of providing quality education.
中芯学校创始人张汝京先生和前任校董胡淑光女士分别通过视频送来了他们对中芯学校的祝福和期望。
Dr. Shu-Kuang Hu, former SMIC School Chancellor and Dr. Richard Chang, founder of SMIC School gave SMIC School the best wishes through their videos.
值此20周年之际，中芯培养的一届又一届的毕业生们也用视频祝贺中芯学校20周年生日快乐。
In the past 20 years, many students graduated from SMIC School. They are pursuing their dreams and making great academic or career achievements. They also sent their regards and wishes through the video.
3文艺演出 精彩纷呈
小学中文部的京剧表演《梨花颂》展现了中华传统文化艺术魅力。
Elementary school students from the Chinese Track demonstrated the beauty of the traditional Chinese art through a Beijing Opera excerpt – “Ode to the Pear Blossoms”.
中学英文部的管弦乐演奏《魔笛》，寄寓着中芯乘风破浪，继往开来。
SMIC-I High School chamber orchestra brought us impressive rendition of the "Magic Flute" by Mozart.
小学英文部的各国舞蹈串烧，表现了中芯学校特有的中西融合的开放、包容、多元的教育文化和办学特色。
SMIC-I elementary students brought us an international dance medley, which illustrated the school’s “global citizen” spirit and diversified culture.
中学中文部学生和老师的朗诵“双十年华 青春如歌”，饱含深情，表达了师生对中芯学校的热爱和祝愿。
Chinese Track middle and high school students used poetry to express their deep love and sincere wishes for the school.
小学中文部师生歌舞表演《不忘初心》，深情演绎了中芯师生20年的奋斗，和对未来的执着追求。
The dance from Chinese Track elementary school students and teachers was a tribute to the 20 years of efforts of SMIC teachers and students, and their pursuite of excellence for a better future. 
最后，中英文部啦啦操队的同学们手持花球，挥洒出青春的风采和积极向上的中芯精神，为这次庆典画上了圆满的句号。
Students from both tracks brought us passionate cheerleading dance, full of vitality – a perfect ending to the celebration.

For 20 years, we have remained true to our original aspiration to pursue our goal. In the future, we shall move from very good to great and reach for a higher ground.
