常外附属双语学校：合肥新华公学访学之行

Last week, under the leadership of Ms Luna and Ms Coco, our teachers went to the international integration Department of Hefei Xinhua Academy for a study visit.

当天上午，融合部幼儿园万毅校长、小初王瑞磊校长对参与此次访学之行的老师们表示了热烈欢迎。在校长的带领下，老师们参观了校园，典雅的建筑风格令人耳目一新，中西合璧的环境布置亦令人印象深刻，期间老师们在图书馆的内部设计、馆藏管理等方面进行了深度交流。

In the morning, Ms Wolly, the principal of Primary and Middle School of the international integration department, and Ms Irene, the principal of the Kindergarten expressed a warm welcome to the teachers who participated in the visit. Under the leadership of the principals, we visited the campus and found the elegant architecture to be refreshing and impressive with a combination of Chinese and Western styles. The teachers had in-depth exchanges on the internal design and collection management of the library during that time.

校园参观结束后，老师们与学生一起走进了大课间，感受了活动的乐趣，并就如何有效地开展大课间活动进行了探讨。

After the campus tour, we walked into the class with the students, felt the enjoyment of the activity, and discussed how to effectively carry out the big class activity.

此后是一系列课堂观摩活动。语文、数学、探究等课堂异彩纷呈，不仅展现了IB以生为本的教学理念，还凸显了民主友好、积极正向的课堂生态。

After that, a series of classroom observation activities, including Chinese, mathematics, and UOI not only demonstrated IB's student-oriented teaching philosophy but also showed the democratic, friendly, and positive classroom ecology.

最后，两校教师汇聚一堂，就观摩课及教学相关话题进行反馈与研讨。韩月芳校长充分肯定了授课老师的独特教学视角并分享了IDU项目的构建思路；闫柯校长基于课堂所呈现的过程性评估又展开了关于如何落实评估标准的主题探讨；王昕老师则就教学管理、家园共建等话题与园方进行了经验分享与交流。

In the afternoon, teachers gathered together to give feedback and discuss topics related to the demo classes. Ms Luna fully affirmed the unique teaching perspective of the instructors and shared the construction ideas of the IDU project. Based on the process assessment presented in the classroom, Ms Coco launched a thematic discussion on how to implement the assessment standards. Ms Cynthia shared and exchanged experience with everyone on topics like teaching management and home-school collaboration.

本次访学，是一次思与行的碰撞，是分享与交流，也是借鉴与修正。期待再次携手，在国际化教学之路上，互学共进，共谱辉煌！

This study visit was a collision of thinking and doing, sharing and exchange, as well as reference and revision. Everyone is looking forward to working together again to learn from each other and create brilliant results on the road of international teaching!

新华公学访后感：Visiting Reflections

Ms Rachel: The visit to the MeiHua kindergarten was insightful as we got to see different methodologies and practices of teaching and see a new perspective of IB. I was able to reflect on how we can develop and find new inspiration to improve our teaching, organization, and decoration. I’m excited to share what I learned and saw from this experience with the rest of our foundation department.

通过此次访学之旅，我们看到了不同的教学方法和实践，看到了IB的新样态。通过本次访学，我重新思考了我们的未来将如何发展，并汲取新的灵感来改进我们的教学模式、组织形式和环境装饰设计。我很高兴与我们幼儿园的其他同事分享我的所见所闻。

Ms Susie：来到新华公学的访学之旅让我不禁再一次感慨:读万卷书，行万里路。常外双语的各种培训让我拥有了很多的理论知识，工作的这几年也让我总结出了自己的实战经验，这次的访学打开了我的视野，拓宽了我的思维。感谢学校给我们提供了宝贵的机会，也感谢新华公学毫无保留的展示。学习的路在脚下……

The study trip to Xinhua Academy made me appreciate the meaning behind the saying: read ten thousand books and travel thousands of miles. The various trainings of CBS have given me a lot of theoretical knowledge, and the past few years of work have also helped me to sum up my practical experience. This study visit has opened my horizons and broadened my thinking.
