华威大学，2023 QS世界大学排名第64位，全球大学高研院联盟成员，欧洲大学协会成员。

华威大学作为英国的顶尖高等学府之一，在RAE评估报告中表现亮眼 ，其部分学科还被评定为英国大学前三强的水平（应用数学与牛津、剑桥并列全英第一，纯数学、计算机科学和商务研究等专业则为全英第二），而包括：管理学、经济学、统计学和工程科学等亦为学校的“王牌专业” 。华威大学开设的其他优秀专业还有：分子生物学、教育学、英语语言和文学、传播学与媒体研究、历史学、戏剧表演艺术、哲学、政治学以及社会学等 。此外，就发展速度而言，华威大学是全英最快、世界第三快的高等学府。此次青苗昆明学子被录取的专业便是电子电器工程。

The University of Warwick

Dolphin在昆明校区建校的第二年入读，与昆明校区共同成长了五年。他回忆道：当时为了能够快速适应青苗昆明中学部的全英文授课，自己可是在家苦读了一段时间的英文，做了充足的准备。转眼，五年过去了，在最后阶段根据IB DP的要求，他选择了中文，英文，数学，物理，经济，艺术六门学科进行学习。目前昆明校区在升学阶段为学生们提供了IB DP课程与A Level课程，孩子们可以根据自己优势选择适合自己的课程。

Dolphin was admitted in the second year of BIBS Kunming and has grown together with BIBS Kunming for five years. He recalled that in order to quickly adapt to the all-English teaching of BIBS Kunming MYP, he had to study English hard at home for a period of time and made adequate preparations. Five years passed quickly. In the final stage, according to the requirements of IB DP, he chose to study Chinese, English, mathematics, physics, economics and art. At present, BIBS Kunming provides IB DP and A Level courses for students. Students can choose suitable courses according to their own advantages.

Dolphin has gone from being ignorant to being able to build connections between disciplinary networks and examine their richness and diversity in cultural diversity under the careful guidance of teachers in various disciplines. In class, he is always open to observation, inquiry and questions."

TOK课程-IB DP三大核心课程之一，提倡以跨学科的眼光、批判思维的视角审视真实生活情景，思考更为抽象的知识问题。在最新一期的思考中“如果我们的知识获取发生在排除某些信息和声音的‘泡泡’中，这是否重要？”Dolphin就从自然科学与人文科学两个学科进行了深入的研究，这样的思维构建离不开他本人的求知精神也离不开青苗昆明校区每一位科任老师的认真教学。

TOK- one of the three core courses of IB DP -- advocates a cross-disciplinary, critical thinking perspective to examine real life situations and think about more abstract knowledge problems. In the latest issue of the meditation "Does it matter if our knowledge acquisition takes place in 'bubbles' that exclude certain information and sounds?" Dolphin has conducted in-depth research in both natural sciences and humanities. At the end of last year, at this difficult and important time, Dolphin, under the guidance of Mr. Dwayne in BIBS Kunming, applied to the University of Warwick and was accepted.

五年的时间里，Dolphin在青苗昆明长成了独当一面的新世代青年。他热衷于参加青苗昆明社区组织的各项活动，无论是运动类的还是艺术类的。Dolphin说：“在这里我最大的收获其实是学会如何去进行有效的沟通。在这个“爱 关心与支持”的社区里，其实每一个成员都有各自不同的角色与特长，所以大家也会以不同的方式看待同一件事。因此，我们需要用辩证的眼光去看待事情，学会聆听，学会接纳。”听完他的诉说，我想这大概正是“青苗+”双语课程的魅力展现吧。即将踏上新征程，他的老师们也有一些祝福想对他说。

In five years Dolphin has grown into a new generation of young people in BIBS Kunming. He is keen to participate in various activities organized by the BIBS Kunming community, whether they are sports or art. Dolphin is a principled and polite student. As homeroom teacher of his, I must appreciate his quality of work and motivation to do better every day. Thoroughly enjoyed being his teacher. Dolphin has always been a fantastic listener, it is clear to teachers whether he is open to learning and hearing methods he can use to improve his studies, he can follow the direction and on his way to improvement. His also sensitive to thoughts and opinion of others, this makes he committed to improvement and growth. It is glad to see he have achieved results of his effort.
