In the hope of attracting more outstanding students from all over the world to experience Lucton’s holistic education, we hereby establish a system of scholarships. Lucton Scholarships aims to promote education development and contribute to nurturing talents. At the same time, it is hoped that student’s passion and potential for learning can be stimulated.

莱克顿是一所有着314年历史的英国私立学校，重庆莱克顿将传承英国莱克顿三个世纪的教育精髓，以及上海莱克顿在华的成功办学经验，于2022年9月正式开放，重庆莱克顿坚持贯彻推崇全人教育理念，鼓励学生在学习成长过程中，不仅追求对学术的要求，同时也加强在拓展活动、个人兴趣爱好、人际交流、领导力、独立能力、社会意识等全方面的综合能力。

Lucton is an independent school with 313 years history in the UK. Lucton Chongqing integrates the education essence of Lucton UK and the successful experience of Lucton Shanghai and will officially open in September, 2022. Lucton Chongqing adheres to the concept of holistic education, and encourages students to not only pursue academic achievement in the process of learning and growth, but also strengthen their comprehensive abilities involving co-curricular activities, hobbies, interpersonal communication, leadership, independence, and social awareness.

1、入学奖学金

Scholarship on Entry

莱克顿的核心是莱克顿人。重庆莱克顿奖学金以四位为莱克顿源远流长的发展做出了杰出贡献的莱克顿人命名。

The core of Lucton is Luctonians and the Scholarship upon Entry of Lucton Chongqing is named after the four Luctonians who have made distinguished contributions to Lucton's profound development.

一等·皮尔蓬特创始人奖学金

The Pierrepont Scholarship

奖学金形式：三年学费+住宿费全免

总额约为60万元人民币

奖学金以英国莱克顿创始人约翰·皮尔蓬特先生（Mr. John Pierrepont）的名字命名。皮尔蓬特家族颇具声望，出过两任公爵（Dukes of Kingston-upon-Hull）。约翰·皮尔蓬特父母一代，定居到赫里福德郡的莱克顿。约翰·皮尔蓬特先生是一位成功的葡萄酒商人。与此同时，他心系民生，积极投身教会和医院的慈善事业，并于退休后从伦敦回到家乡，创办了莱克顿学校。

The scholarship is named after Mr. John Pierrepont, the founder of Lucton UK. The Pierreponts was quite prestigious with the history of two Dukes of Kingston-upon-Hull. The generation of John Pierrepont's parents settled in Lucton, Herefordshire. Mr. John Pierrepont is a successful wine merchant and philanthropist who cared about people's livelihood and actively devoted himself to charitable causes in churches and hospitals. After his retirement, he returned to his hometown from London and founded the Lucton School.

二等·校长学术奖学金

The Gill and Paul Thorne Scholarship

奖学金形式：三年学费减免50%

总额约为28万元人民币

时任英国莱克顿学校校长期间，Gill Thorne女士做出设立莱克顿海外分校的重要决策，与时任英国莱克顿学校首席战略发展官Paul Thorne先生共同推动了英国莱克顿首家海外分校——上海莱克顿学校的创立。二等奖学金以Gill Thorne女士和Paul Thorne先生命名。

The then Headmistress of Lucton School UK, Mrs. Gill Thorne made an important decision to establish Lucton School Overseas, and together with Mr. Paul Thorne, the then Chief Strategic Development Officer of Lucton School UK, who jointly promoted the first overseas campus of Lucton School UK, Lucton School Shanghai. The second-class scholarship is named after Mrs. Gill Thorne and Mr. Paul Thorne.

三等·校董荣誉奖学金

The Paddy Armstrong Scholarship

总额约为15万元人民币

三等奖学金以英国莱克顿学校校董Paddy Armstrong先生命名。Paddy Armstrong先生生前担任英国中学课程GCSE和A Level的出卷人，是英国寄宿学校协会的资深顾问。Paddy Armstrong先生为英国莱克顿最佳教育实践的输出做出了巨大贡献，领导了上海莱克顿师资培训、教学管理体系的本土化结合、寄宿体系搭建等工作，让更多的中国学生受益于卓越的全人教育培养。

The third-class scholarship is named after Mr. Paddy Armstrong, the Governor of Lucton School UK. Mr. Paddy Armstrong served as a GCSE and A Level tester for the British secondary education curriculum, and a senior consultant of the Boarding Schools’ Association (BSA) in the UK. Mr. Paddy Armstrong has made great contributions to the implementation of the best educational practices at Lucton School UK, leading the teacher training in Lucton Shanghai, the localisation of the teaching management system, and the establishment of the boarding system, so that more Chinese students can benefit from the excellent holistic education.
